When the MVP setup stops working

Success creates a different class of problem.

The MVP did its job. It proved the product could work. More users, larger customers, and a bigger roadmap now expose decisions the original setup never had to answer.

01

Every “small” feature touches five systems

Mobile waits on backend. Backend waits on data. The customer deadline does not move.

02

The roadmap keeps growing

Customer requests, technical debt, and growth work compete without one clear critical path.

03

The team is busy. The outcome is still blocked

People own tasks and components. Nobody owns the result across them.

04

Growth exposes old shortcuts

Releases slow down. Support rises. Reliability, permissions, data, and cloud costs start to matter.

05

Hiring feels like a guess

It is unclear whether the gap is capacity, one specialist, technical leadership, or the plan itself.

06

A rewrite keeps coming up

Nobody has shown what truly needs to change and what is safe to keep.

Free next-stage product review

See the next move before you spend on it.

A senior engineer reviews one live product, one meaningful 90-day outcome, and the setup behind it.

Qualifying reviews are normally delivered within three business days after we have enough context.

The real bottleneck

What is slowing the next meaningful outcome.

The strongest first move

The action that unlocks the most progress.

What to keep or change

Which parts can carry forward, need strengthening, or should wait.

What the work actually needs

A clearer plan, focused specialist, more capacity, or one accountable team.

Private video walkthrough plus a concise written summary.

Use it with Barq, your current team, or another partner.

The free review covers one live product, one primary 90-day outcome, and up to 90 minutes of senior engineering analysis. It is focused guidance, not a full roadmap, penetration test, compliance audit, exhaustive code review, or fixed implementation quote. We confirm fit before the review begins.

A whole-product view

The next stage rarely fits inside one specialty.

Mobile changes the backend. AI changes data, permissions, cost, and support. Enterprise customers change reliability, security, and reporting.

We follow the outcome across the whole product, then recommend the smallest responsible path forward.

  1. 01

    Share what is live

Tell us about the product, the next goal, and where progress is getting stuck.

    About 3 minutes

  2. 02

    We review the constraint

A senior engineer examines the product and requests only the minimum context needed.

    Normally within 3 business days

  3. 03

    Get your brief

Receive the main diagnosis, what should happen first, and who needs to own it.

    Yours to keep

  4. 04

    Choose who builds it

Use it internally, give it to another team, or ask Barq to scope the work.

    No obligation

Optional implementation

The review is free. The build is optional.

No payment is requested during the review. If you want Barq to implement the recommendation, we agree on scope, acceptance criteria, timing, and price before paid work begins.

Keep the findings even if someone else builds it.

If Barq builds it

We deliver the agreed scope, fix covered defects, or refund the affected work.

Paid work begins with a written scope and acceptance criteria. If covered work has defects, we fix them at no additional charge. If we still cannot deliver the agreed scope, we refund the affected work.

Coverage, dependencies, and final terms are defined in the signed agreement for later paid implementation.

A strong fit

Built for products beyond the demo.

A live product with customers, active users, or real business operations.

One meaningful outcome that matters within the next 90 to 180 days.

Work crossing product, backend, mobile, AI, data, integrations, infrastructure, or team ownership.

A decision-maker and enough technical context for a useful review.

Not this offer

Idea-only products, brochure websites, isolated minor bugs, formal security audits, or requests for candidate CVs.

If the product is still stuck before launch, the Launch Readiness Review is the better starting point.

Questions before the review

What to know before you share your product.

What will we receive, and when?

Qualifying products receive a private recorded walkthrough and concise written brief, normally within three business days after we have the required context.

Is the review really free?

Yes. There is no payment method, deposit, or obligation to hire Barq. We first confirm that the product context can support a useful review.

Is this only for MVPs?

No. It is for live software products at any stage where an important next move has become difficult to frame or execute.

Do we need to share the full codebase?

No. Start with the questionnaire and product context. If technical access would materially improve the review, we request the minimum necessary access afterward.

Will you recommend replacing our current team?

Not by default. The review clarifies what the current team can continue to own and whether the real gap is capacity, specialist skill, roadmap clarity, or cross-system ownership.

Will you recommend a rewrite?

Only when evidence shows the current foundation cannot responsibly support the stated outcome. Keeping sound parts is usually faster and safer.

Can our own team implement the recommendation?

Yes. The review and brief are yours to use.

What happens if we want Barq to build it?

We prepare a written implementation scope with acceptance criteria, timing, and price. Paid work begins only after you approve it.
