Privacy Policy

This policy covers the public Barq website. It does not govern data processed as part of a client project; that work is covered by the applicable client agreement and project documentation.

• Information you provide. When you request a product review, schedule a call, or contact the team, you may provide contact details, company and product information, product links, scheduling preferences, and the content of your message.
• Request and security data. Hosting and network systems process basic request details, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, and timestamp, to deliver and protect the site.
• Error diagnostics. The site uses privacy-minimized error reporting to identify technical failures. Client-side reporting is configured without session replay, performance tracing, client logs, or default personally identifying information.
• Optional analytics. If you enable analytics, Google Analytics may process page views, browser and device details, referring pages, and similar usage information to help improve site content and performance.
• Campaign source data. When a product-review link includes UTM values, those values may be saved with the submitted request so Barq can understand its source. Meta click and browser identifiers are processed only when you enable marketing measurement, and are kept only while delivery may need to be retried.
• Optional Meta measurement. If you enable marketing measurement, Meta Pixel may process page, browser, referrer, and advertising identifier data. When a review request is successfully saved, Barq may also send Meta a Lead event through its Conversions API. That event can include a one-way hash of your normalized email address, consented Meta identifiers, browser details, IP address, the offer type, and Barq's source page. It does not include your questionnaire answers, product name, product URL, or free-text context.
• Your privacy choice. The site stores your selected categories, consent version, and choice time in browser storage and a first-party cookie so it can respect that choice on later visits.
• Questionnaire drafts. Unfinished product-review answers are stored only in temporary browser session storage. They are cleared when you submit, restart, or close the tab, and expire after 24 hours as an additional safeguard.

The launch-readiness questionnaire collects the information needed to assess eligibility, understand your main concern, arrange appropriate access, and provide the requested review. A copy of the submission is stored in Barq’s operational system and sent to the reviewing team by email.

Do not submit passwords, API keys, access tokens, source code, regulated data, confidential customer records, or production credentials through the questionnaire. If additional material is needed, Barq will arrange a more appropriate access method after reviewing the request.

Product-review requests and related communications are retained only as long as reasonably needed to deliver the review, manage follow-up, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion using the contact path below, subject to records Barq must retain.

Necessary storage is used to remember your privacy settings and support core site functions. The consent record is configured to remain for up to one year unless you clear it sooner.

Google Analytics is not loaded until you enable analytics. Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API are not used until you enable marketing measurement. If you later disable a category, the site stops future collection for that category and attempts to remove its known first-party cookies. UTM values submitted with a product-review request remain first-party source data and do not by themselves load either provider.

You can change your decision at any time through “Cookie Preferences” in the footer. Browser controls can also delete cookies and local storage, although doing so may cause the site to ask for your choice again.

• Google Analytics is used only after analytics consent. Review the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

• Calendly is embedded only after you open the scheduling tool. Information you enter there is processed through Calendly and shared with Barq for scheduling and follow-up. Review the Calendly Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab).

Hosting, security, and operational providers may also process limited information as needed to deliver their services. Providers may process data in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and safeguards.

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website.
• Remember and apply your privacy choices.
• Assess and deliver requested product reviews, arrange safe access, schedule conversations, and respond to messages.
• Send occasional product engineering resources when you choose to opt in. You can unsubscribe from those messages at any time.
• Understand and improve website performance when you have enabled analytics.
• Measure Meta campaign visits and confirmed review requests when you have enabled marketing measurement.
• Meet legal obligations and protect legitimate rights.

Information is shared with service providers only as needed for the purposes described above, or when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the website, Barq, its clients, or others. Information may also be transferred as part of a business reorganization, subject to appropriate handling.

The consent record is configured for up to one year. Scheduling records, communications, analytics data, and technical diagnostics are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for their purpose, legal obligations, or dispute management, subject to provider settings and policies.

You can withdraw optional cookie consent through the footer at any time. You can also unsubscribe from optional resource emails through the link in those messages. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to some uses. Use the contact path below to make a request. Identity verification may be required before a request is completed.

Barq uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. The website is intended for business audiences and is not designed to collect information from children.

This notice may be updated when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. Material revisions will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Barq keeps this notice under periodic operational and legal review.
